Overview
Our Axcient team pre-configures Axcient-hosted vaults.
But when you deploy a private vault (hosted in your own data center), you will need to configure that vault for use.
To configure a private vault
- Private vaults are deployed and configured exactly like BDR appliances.
See Configure a New BDR Appliance for detailed instructions on deploying the x360Recover operating system and performing the initial provisioning of your new vault or BDR appliance.
During provisioning, when choosing the type of device being configured, select Vault.
All other steps are exactly the same when configuring both appliances and vaults.
