We are excited to introduce an improved Web Preview tool,  allowing end users to enjoy a more seamless viewing experience, a consistent user interface, and a comprehensive set of features.

Seamless Viewing Experience

When logging in to the web portal, end users will intuitively gain access to the Web Preview tool through one of the following actions:

  • Click the title of a file, or
  • Right-click the file, point to the Open In menu item, and select Web Preview.

The selected file will launch as an overlay within the same browser tab.

Supported file types include PDF, Microsoft Office, CAD, Image, Video, and more. For a complete list of supported files, please reference the Supported File Formats  section of this article.

Additionally, all modern browser types are supported to ensure a seamless experience for your end users.

Consistent User Interface

When launching the Web Preview tool, you will have immediate access to an intuitive navigation menu. The design of this menu closely mimics the new x360Sync web portal UI, allowing for a consistent user interface for end users.

Advanced Feature Set

When working in the Web Preview tool, end users have access to a robust set of tools, including:

The Panel feature displays a thumbnail for each page and shows the file structure, if any.

The View Controls feature allows users to enable or disable the break between pages. It also provides the option to view the file in a single page, spread, or flip the page clockwise or counterclockwise.

The Pan Tool allows the user to move the view vertically or horizontally.

Select Tool

The Select Tool provides the ability to select and copy the file’s content.

Zoom Tool
