We are excited to introduce an improved Web Preview tool, allowing end users to enjoy a more seamless viewing experience, a consistent user interface, and a comprehensive set of features.
Seamless Viewing Experience
When logging in to the web portal, end users will intuitively gain access to the Web Preview tool through one of the following actions:
- Click the title of a file, or
- Right-click the file, point to the Open In menu item, and select Web Preview.
The selected file will launch as an overlay within the same browser tab.
Supported file types include PDF, Microsoft Office, CAD, Image, Video, and more. For a complete list of supported files, please reference the Supported File Formats section of this article.
Additionally, all modern browser types are supported to ensure a seamless experience for your end users.
Consistent User Interface
When launching the Web Preview tool, you will have immediate access to an intuitive navigation menu. The design of this menu closely mimics the new x360Sync web portal UI, allowing for a consistent user interface for end users.
Advanced Feature Set
When working in the Web Preview tool, end users have access to a robust set of tools, including:
Panel The Panel feature displays a thumbnail for each page and shows the file structure, if any. |

View Controls The View Controls feature allows users to enable or disable the break between pages. It also provides the option to view the file in a single page, spread, or flip the page clockwise or counterclockwise.

Pan Tool The Pan Tool allows the user to move the view vertically or horizontally. |

Select Tool The Select Tool provides the ability to select and copy the file’s content. |
|
Zoom Tool The Zoom tool allows the user to zoom in or out of the file, as needed. |

Size View Selector The Size View Selector tool provides the ability to fit the document to width, page, or percentage. Additionally, using the Marquee Zoom feature, the user can frame a specific area of the file and zoom into the selected area. |

Search The Search tool allows the user to search for key words within the file. Users can also select advanced settings, including the case sensitive option, whole word, or wildcard tools. |

Menu The Menu allows the user to view the file in fullscreen mode, download the file, or print the file. |
