Welcome to the x360Recover Health Dashboard
The Health Dashboard is visible on the opening page of your x360Recover portal, providing a centralized location for information about all of your protected systems.
This article discusses how to use the features of the Health Dashboard efficiently.
Features of the Health Dashboard
Quick Actions
Add Client: From the dashboard you can quickly create a new client. For detailed steps visit Client accounts in Manager (RMC)
Recovery Wizard: Start a recovery directly from your dashboard. Select your client, recovery type, protected system, and restore points within a friendly wizard. Learn more about your recovery options.
Org Settings: Configure your organization-wide alerts and thresholds. For details visit Configure the Health Digest for an Organization.
Organization At a Glance
This section summarizes details about your organization. Each topic links to the related details page where you can find additional information.
Current Client Health
This widget displays a gauge of the percentage of clients that are SLA compliant to the total number of clients within your organization.
Protected System Health History
This chart visualizes the last seven days of the overall protected system health history. It represents a percentage of healthy protected systems compared to total number of protected systems.
Activities of Interest
This sections highlights activities of interest across your organization, for including:
- BMR Activity
- Client Cloud and Local Shares
- Local Virtualizations
- New Appliances
- New Devices (Auto-protected and Unprotected)
- New Services
- Upgrader Activities
Quick Health Filter
These buttons can be used to quickly filter the protected systems, appliances, and vaults tables to help with identifying devices that need attention.
Section Search and Filter
Within each section of the dashboard, you can apply filters to systems within that section to quickly navigate to the information you are searching for. The filter options are flexible and can be adjusted to fit your needs.
TIP: Filter by Troubled and/or Warned protected systems, to quickly identify areas that require attention.
Customize the refresh rate
On the right side of the page, beneath the quick health filters, you can customize the dashboard's refresh rate to either 5 minutes or 15 minutes (if 1 hour is too long.) Additionally, you have the option to “refresh all now”.
TIP: You can display the System Details dashboard on a monitor either at your desk or in the office and automatically refresh hourly by default. |
Adjust the number of records displayed in each section
The number of records displayed in each section defaults to 25 records.
If you choose to change that number, the page remembers the new default selection by each user.
Sections of the Health Dashboard Details page
Protected Systems
Within the Protected Systems section, you can view:
- Protected System Name: Drill down to the protected system details screen
- Client: Displays the client’s name. Drill down to the client overview
- System Type: Indicates if the protected system is a server or workstation
- Health Status: Displays the health state and explanation for status
- Recommended Actions: Text assists with troubleshooting if applicable
- AutoVerify: If AutoVerify is enabled, this column will appear. It shows the date and result of the latest AutoVerify check for each protected system
- Last Successful Job: Displays the last successful job. Click to drill down to it.
- Backup Targets: Displays the vault or appliance name your protected system backups reside. Clicking will navigate you to the Appliance or Vault interfaces, similar to the Direct Access Icons that are found within the Vault and Appliance sections.
Vaults
Within the Vaults section, you can view:
- Direct Access Icon: Navigates directly to the vault, similar to the Backup Targets in the Protected Systems section.
- Vault Name: Drill down to the vault overview in x360Recover Manager
- Vault Health: Displays the health state
- Storage Pool: Displays the storage amount used and available
- Software Version: Displays the vault version
- Restore Points in Use: Shows the current count of restore points that are mounted for that device. If you have any restore points in use, clicking the count will display a modal with a list of restore points in use and their respective Protected System
- Systems Protected: Displays the number of protected systems in this vault and breaks them down by type (workstation or server).
Appliances
Within the Appliances section, you can view:
- Direct Access Icon: Navigates directly to the appliance, similar to the Backup Targets in the Protected Systems section.
- Appliance Name: Drill down to the appliance overview in x360Recover Manager
- Client: Displays the client’s name. Drill down to the client overview.
- Appliance Health: Displays the health state.
- Storage Pool: Displays the storage amount used.
- Software Version: Displays the appliance version.
- Restore Points in Use: Shows the current count of restore points that are mounted for that device. If you have any restore points in use, clicking the count will display a modal with a list of restore points in use and their respective Protected System
- Available Licenses: Displays the number of protected systems using licenses and (b) available license for each protected system type.
