Overview 

The Health Dashboard Sidebar is made visible by selecting one of your protected systems from the Health Dashboard

The sidebar displays the critical device information and actions that are typically found by going to the device details page. 

Launch the Sidebar from the Health Dashboard 

The Health Dashboard Sidebar can be launched by selecting the name of one of your listed protected systems. 

Note: Sidebar functionality is not supported for BRC protected systems.

What’s included in the Health Dashboard Sidebar?

Health Dashboard Sidebar provides users with quick access to critical protected system details and actions without having to navigate away from the dashboard. 

Users can simply click the name of another protected system to navigate to the information for that different device.

Actions: Below are actions users can take at the protected system level.

1. Open Protected System Details:  Navigate to the protected system details page for a larger view of the sidebar information.
2. Recovery Wizard: 
Initiate a recovery using the Recovery Wizard for the specific protected system. User can recover files or folders, run a virtual machine in the Axcient virtual office, export a virtual disk, or perform an Azure direct restore. 
3. Run AutoVerify: Run a Cloud AutoVerify job for the protected system. 
4. Enable\Disable Geo+: 
Enable or disable Geo+, Axcient geo-redundancy functionality for the specified protected system
5. Alert Settings: 
Manage alerts for the protected systems. Create custom alert thresholds for this device. Note: Doing so will override the default thresholds set at the organization level.

Other information on the dashboard:

---Device Summary Message—If the device is troubled or has warnings, this banner will display with a health status 

---Device Health Status History - Last 30 Days — This graph shows a history of device health over 30 days. Each day is represented with a color: red for troubled, yellow for warnings, and green for healthy.

AutoVerify—This is a summary of the latest AutoVerify results for the protected system including BootVM screenshot

Job History—These panels include status of all the protected systems’ job history, including job type, and completed timestamp. 

Clicking into the job status will give users additional details about the job.

Protection Summary—This panel shows the number of days configured for this system’s as well as the local and Cloud thresholds for health status determination and alerting. 

Geo+ Summary—This is a summary of your protected systems’ Geo+ status, include whether its enabled or disabled. If enabled, you will see information regarding the protected system’s last primary restore, last redundant restore point, and instructions on how to recover


 Local Storage Summary—This panel shows the percentage of local storage consumed by this device. This is only applicable to protected systems backing up to a BDR appliance.


Axcient Cloud Storage Summary— This panel shows the percentage of cloud storage consumed by this device. 

 

Local Cache Summary—This panel shows the status of protected system’s local cache; if it is enabled or disabled, the latest status, last check information, and the path of the local cache. 


 Device Details—This panel displays summary information for the protected system, including when the device was added, operating system, hostname or IP, Axcient package, and agent version.
