Overview
As of the RMC 5.29 release, you can now download x360Recover agents from several locations in the Recover Manager. (RMC)
You'll now find Download Agent buttons throughout Recover Manager including:
- Dashboard
- Client details page
- Vault details page
- Appliance details page
Get started
Depending on where you initiate the agent download, your workflow will start at a different stage.
These instructions start from the Dashboard, which includes all potential wizard screens.
To begin, log in to the x360 Partner Portal and launchx360Recover.
1. From the Dashboard, select Download Agent from the Quick Actions section at the top of the page:. 
2. A guide will appear asking you to select the client.
Select the appropriate client.
3. Next step will ask you to select the agent type.
You can select either Direct-to-Cloud or Appliance.
(If the specified client does not have an appliance, it will default to D2C and skip this step.)
3a. When selecting Direct-to-Cloud, if the selected clients has multiple vaults, the next step will ask you to select the vault the new protected system should be associated with.
4. Next, select the operating system for the agent:
- Windows
- macOS
- Linux.
4a. If you select Windows, you will have the option to download either (a) the Windows agent or (b) the Windows agent for ARM-based PCs.

4b. Selecting the macOS operating system will give you the option to use a GUI installer or a scripted deployment.

4c. Selecting the Linux operating system will give you the option to use either a GUI installer or a scripted deployment.
