Systray icon for Windows 

Now available in agent 2.4.1, our new x360Recover systray icon can provide you with a rich selection of info, including agent version, service status (running or stopped), connection status with Backup Manager on the appliance (Connected or Disconnected),  date/time of the last attempted backup and the last successful backup. And if a backup is currently in progress, the progress bar will show the completion percentage.

Note: The systray utility will display on the new installation wizard, but for existing protected systems, you will have to update the aristos config file for it to be enabled.

RMC health dashboard

  • We've completed updates to the RMC health dashboard, so you can now see  AutoVerify results with BootVM screenshots

Recovery wizard

  • Now available to all partners, our new Recovery wizard options in RMC mean you don't need to install or launch the recovery center on the protected system for restores (unless you are doing a local cache recovery.) 

More Q2 features

  • D2C installer management now allows persistent tokens. This is available in 14.1.0 and higher
  • Linux for RedHat/CentOS is now in general availability

Coming up in Q3:

  • We'll be adding geo-redundancy for protected systems in North America.  This allows you to include additional redundancy by replicating from one regional datacenter to another location.

Chat is faster than email

Use our Chat to submit a Support ticket – it's much faster than email!

Did you know that cases submitted via chat in our web portal, on average, have 8 less exchanges between the support team and you, resulting in resolution times that can be 26 hours faster than cases that are submitted via email?

 Based on those results and your feedback, we removed the ability to open new support cases via email on June 30 

Of course, email can still be used to communicate with Axcient Support Technicians once the case is opened, as this change is strictly limited to submitting case requests via email.
