Overview
This guide explains how to use web-based file and folder browsing from the x360Recover Manager dashboard. It covers launching the Recovery Wizard from Dashboard via Quick Actions or the Protected System Sidebar and downloading files directly from a selected restore point.

- From the Dashboard, select the protected system you want to recover files from.
- The protected system sidebar opens automatically.
Step 2: Choose File and Folder Recovery via Browser

After the Download Completes
View Download Activity
- Return to the Dashboard.
- In Activities of Interest, you will see your file export listed.

Important Notes and Limitations
- File exports active on the desktop in Activities of Interest:
- Are not accessible to other recovery methods, for example if you need to browse the same restore point for a different request or initiate a Virtual Office
- Use file and folder browsing for targeted recoveries only.
- For large-scale restores, use FTPS export options or virtualization workflows.
Best Practices
- Verify the restore point date and time before downloading.
- Download only the files required to reduce export size.
- Save exported files securely if they may be needed after the link expires.
