Windows 10 is now a supported operating system for SPX.

For Windows upgrades, StorageCraft recommends deactivating the SPX license prior to upgrading the OS to Windows 10. While a Windows upgrade may work with SPX without a license deactivation, StorageCraft recommends as a best practice to deactivate the software first, then perform the OS upgrade (including Windows 8 to 8.1 or to Windows 10). After the upgrade completes, reactivate SPX.

Caution: SPX currently has an issue with continuing a backup chain from a Windows 10 VM created using VirtualBoot.
