New Features

Ability to export data from SharePoint browser

We are continuing to expand the set of recovery options by adding a data export function to the SharePoint Browser.

x360Cloud SharePoint Browser allows you to browse backed-up folders and files of a SharePoint site, then select and restore those folders in one step. In version 4.9.0, you can also export the data you browse, with the same level of granularity and selection flexibility.

Similar to restoration, the new Export function supports point-in-time selection in the browser and can be launched for all search results when you perform a search within a folder. To check the export status or download the data, navigate to the organization’s Dashboard and open the Exports tab in the Recent Activity Report section.

Fixes

  • Fixed for the issue where the selected point-in-time was disregarded and extra data restored within the folder selected for restore from SharePoint browser.
  • Fixed for the issue when a file was restored twice after the user searched for it and restored it from SharePoint browser, in cases where this file was the only file in the folder where the search was performed.
  • Excluded confusing “informational” warnings about absence of Microsoft 365 license from the notification about Troubled backups shown on the reseller Dashboard.
  • Removed friction in the user experience with PSA companies mapping when PSA contains thousands of companies.
  • Removed odd indication of the “point in time” field as mandatory in the browser.
  • Fixed UI issue with the scroll below the footer on the SharePoint Sites page.

Known issues

  • When both individually selected objects and search results within a folder are selected for restoration in x360Cloud Browser, each group - individually selected objects and each set of search results are processed as a separate restoration. As result, they are restored to separate target folders in within the specified target location.
  • Archive emails are restored in a separate (timestamped) target folder when restored with general emails.
