Update x360Sync desktop clients

Partners do not need to manually update desktop clients. A deployed desktop client periodically checks in with its x360Sync server, whether it's hosted privately (Private Cloud partners) or hosted by the Axcient x360Sync cloud (SaaS partners). If a desktop client update is available, a desktop client will automatically download and silently install the update in the background. Custom branded desktop clients will also update automatically.

You could also manually check for a client update on a local machine by clicking on its tray icon, choosing Manage (gear icon) and then About.

Alternatively, if you would like to manually update a desktop client, click the Start menu, point to All Programs, then Synced Tool, and then select Autoupdate Tool.

Update an x360Sync server (for Private Cloud Partners)

Partners do not need to manually update an x360Sync server.  When an x360Sync update is released, it is pushed out to all of our partners' x360Sync servers. As noted above, deployed desktop clients periodically check in with their x360Sync server; if a desktop client update is available, these desktop clients will automatically download and silently install the updates in the background.

Alternatively, if you would like to manually update the x360Sync server, click the Start menu, point to All Programs, then x360Sync Server, and then select Autoupdate Tool.
