Improvements

Ability to automatically select new Archive Mailboxes for protection

With version 3.53.0, you can configure x360Cloud to automatically back up new Archive Mailboxes (aka In-place Archive).

To automatically select all new SharePoint Site Collections for backup with x360Cloud:

1.    Click the Services sub-menu under the organization's Settings tab.

2.    In the New Users section, flip the Automatically back up new Microsoft 365 users (Archive Mailboxes) toggle ON to automatically back up new Microsoft 365 archive mailboxes in x360Cloud.

The setting takes immediate effect. When enabled, new archive mailboxes configured in Microsoft 365 will be automatically selected for protection when synchronized to x360Cloud.

Note: x360Cloud might take up to 24 hours to synchronize a new Archive Mailbox to the system.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue when SharePoint backups were sometimes failing due to “request could not be completed due to a conflict with the current state of the target resource” error from Microsoft 365.
  • Fixed issue when email data restore was sometimes failing due to an unexpected x360Cloud error while retrieving a folder path for an email.
  • Optimised restoration retry mechanics by implementing a pagination for fetching successfully restored objects. This optimization results in quicker and more reliable restoration retries.

Known issues

  • When folders are partially selected and restored in x360Cloud Browser, each folder is processed as a separate restoration and is restored to a separate target folder in the target location.
  • Smart Search shows incorrect number of matching results for Mail when using “Filter by collection”.
  • Descriptions for some issues and backup progress are not shown in the container-level downloadable backup report and on the Reports page.
  • Archive emails are restored in a separate (timestamped) target folder when restored with general emails.
