Why integrate with ConnectWise Asio?
x360Cloud now supports direct integration with ConnectWise Asio.
The ConnectWise Asio platform is an API-centric platform that:
- acts as an extension of core services from the ConnectWise tech stack
- provides a unified data source for all core services
- delivers a centralized workflow engine
- adds intelligent services
- uses 100% cloud-based operations
Sync your x360Cloud backup status information to ConnectWise Asio
Keeping track of backup health for various systems can be challenging when information is spread across different systems and locations. The backup status information in x360Cloud can now be synchronised to ConnectWise Asio.
- The information sync requires x360Cloud organizations to be mapped to Connectwise companies.
- x360Cloud will automatically send backup status data to ConnectWise Asio on a daily basis.

- Axcient x360Cloud
- ConnectWise Asio
- Permissions to configure Axcient x360Cloud
- Permission to set up ConnectWise Asio
How does integration work?
The integration process syncs backup status information from Axcient x360Cloud to ConnectWise Asio. Once you have mapped each protected x360Cloud organization to a ConnectWise company, x360Cloud will sync backup health information to ConnectWise Asio.

How to view x360Cloud data
1. You can view the x360Cloud backup summary by navigating to Data protection > Backup360.
2. Then, click on SaaS Devices to see the protection summary from x360Cloud as shown below:
3. Select “x360Cloud” in the Product filter to see the protection summary from x360Cloud as shown below:
4. Scroll down the page to see the backup status for x360Cloud organizations as shown below in the Jobs tab:
The x360Cloud's backup status indicates if the system successfully backed up all organization’s data for the past 24 hours, in accordance with ‘one successful backup per day’ SLA.
How to set up the ConnectWise Asio integration to work withx360Cloud
1. Browse to ConnectWise Asio.
2. Click on Asio Integrations.
3 . Search and locate x360Cloud.
4. Open the "three dots" menu and click Integrate.
This will activate an integration with x360Cloud.
How to generate Asio API credentials
Next, you will generate the needed Asio API credentials. x360Cloud will use these credentials to connect to the Asio integration portal.
To do this, you will toggle between the Asio window and the x360Cloud window, in order to copy and paste the Client ID and Client secret into the ConnectWise Asio Settings page of x360Cloud.
1. Click the copy icon to copy the contents to the clipboard.
2. Next, navigate to x360Cloud.
From the Reseller Dashboard, navigate to the Settings page and click the ConnectWise Asio menu tab there.
3. Toggle between the two windows, using the Copy icon in the Asio window to copy and then paste the Client ID and Client secret to the x360Cloud window.
4. Once you have pasted the Client ID and Client secret into x360Cloud, click Save.
5. The x360Cloud Asio API Token should be generated and displayed after saving the Asio credentials.
IMPORTANT: This token must be copied to ConnectWise Asio to provide mutual authentication.
6. . Switch to ConnectWise Asio and click Proceed to move to the “Connection Setup” step.
In the Connection Setup window, paste the Asio API Token into the API Token field and click Save and Proceed.
7. Once credentials have been saved on both sides, Asio reads the list of available client organizations from Axcient x360Cloud.
How to map sites between Axcient and Asio
To map sites between Axcient and Asio, select the Axcient organization that corresponds with each Asio company or site.
8. Click Save and Proceed.
If not all companies or sites have matching values, you may leave them unassigned and return here later to map them.
In this case, click Continue to confirm (leaving some companies unmapped.)
9. Once the setup is completed, click Complete Setup.
How to remove the ConnectWise Asio integration
The following steps are needed to remove the ConnectWise Asio integration.
NOTE: These steps can only be done from Axcient x360Cloud.
1. Log into Axcient x360Cloud.
2. From the Dashboard, click Settings and open ConnectWise Asio sub-menu.
3. Click the Deactivate Asio Integration button.
4. You will be prompted with a dialog to Disable (or Cancel).
Click the Disable button.
8. You will then be presented with a confirmation indicating that this ConnectWise Asio integration was successfully deactivated.
This means that ConnectWise Client ID and Client secret were erased from x360Cloud and backup status information will no longer be synchronised to ConnectWise Asio.
